Biography

Elspeth Lynn, Chair of Judges, Group Creative Director, FCB Inferno

Elspeth has 25 years experience as an art director at agencies such as DDB and Leo Burnett. She then started her own agency
Zig, which was Agency of the Year in Canada and very well awarded, with clients like IKEA and Unilever.

She decided to come back to London in 2008 where she took on ECD at digital agency Profero, as she feels every creative needs to understand social and digital. She then accepted the role of Group ECD of M&C Saatchi and ran numerous clients including TfL, Virgin Holidays and The House of Peroni.

She happily joined FCB Inferno this January, impressed by an agency that has incredible momentum and a second to none culture.

Elspeth has also served on every major jury in the industry (sometimes twice), including juries at Cannes, D&AD, The One Show, The Clios and The Andys, she also chaired the Marketing Awards in Canada.

Lee Williams, Convenor of Judges, Executive Creative Director, Sudler & Hennessey London

After escaping a brief career in pharmaceutical manufacturing and research neurogenetics, Lee began his advertising career as a copywriter, around 20 years ago.

He spent 12 years at an independent healthcare agency where he created award-winning campaigns in every sector of the category –  from Rx-only secondary and primary care brands to consumer awareness, OTC and vet. Lee helped pioneer the development of consumer disease awareness, with a number of high-profile campaigns for top 5 pharma companies. This included a string of big-budget TVCs, as well as the development of one of the first ever consumer-health websites back in the late 90s!

Since 2008, Lee has been applying his creative energy into helping launch and re-launch global pharma brands, with Creative Director roles in major-network agencies.

Determined to live without eating or wearing animals, Lee is particularly proud of a recent global charity campaign he helped develop for Animals Asia which raised over $5M to help end bear-bile farming in Nanning, China.

When not obsessing about the importance of great ideas – strategically and creatively, Lee can be found chasing his young son around the waves and pistes of Europe.

His photographic style and eye for storytelling was further developed when living in South America as creative director of a lifestyle magazine in Colombia.
